Detroit Industrial Engineer Overview:
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for determining the relative efficiencies and short comings of the Detroit facilities processes. While reviewing overall processes, this job will need to account for cycle time, number of operators, work cell layout, cost and new technologies when judging the productivity and efficiency of the Detroit manufacturing facility. The Industrial Engineer will establish and develop methods and processes to be implemented after careful experimentation. This role will be responsible for the documentation and improvement of overall efficiency through lean manufacturing and scrap reduction for processes utilized at the Detroit facilities.

- This job requires experience with plastic injection molding.
- Experience with medical device development and manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- This job requires professional experience working with Solidworks software.
