Detroit CNC Programmer Overview:

The CNC Programmer will be responsible for the set up and operation of CNC mills and lathes for the cutting of precision machined metal parts.  This job will be working out of a state of the art facility in the metro Detroit area that is home to game changing technologies, products, and engineering services designed to help customers solve the toughest manufacturing problems they may face during the manufacturing process. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for the performance of several multi-axis mills and lathes of various programming languages.

• • The CNC Programmer will select, program, set-up, and operate CNC mills and lathes for the Detroit, Michigan machining facility.
  • This job will need to work with other programmers, operators, and machinists to maintain a clean facility and standard of tight tolerance milling and lathing.
  • The CNC Programmer will consult with the research and development Test Engineers and customers alike to address machining applications and issues.

CNC Programmer (Detroit Area) Job Requirements: 

• The CNC Programmer must have at minimum 5 years of experience in a metal cutting environment with cutting tool and machine tool applications.
• This job requires experience programming and setting up CNC mills and lathes.
• The CNC Programmer will be responsible for the selection of cutting tools and machine tools to be operated at the metro Detroit area manufacturing facility.
• This job requires working experience with the CAD and CAM programming languages, MasterCAM and CATIA.
• Experience programming, setting up, and operating three and four axis mills and lathes is required for this job, but experience with five axis mills and lathes is highly preferential.
