- The Richmond area Production Planning Manager will manager all aspects of production planning, scheduling, and inventory while interacting with every level of the company.
- Responsible for inventory control, shipping and packaging, receiving, warehousing, production planning and scheduling, as well as analysis of production, MRP, and work-in-process to guide investment decisions.
- Procedure and process development and measurement of throughput, scrap, labor utilization, and capital utilization.
- Algorithm writing and writing in SQL.
Production Planning Manager (Richmond Virginia area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree from an accredited institute in the fields of Math, Production Operations, Engineering or a related field.
- Three (3) or more years of relevant experience in production planning and scheduling, materials control, warehousing, receiving, shipping, and related processes.
- A working knowledge of SQL Server or equivalent systems, SAP experience, and ERP/MRP principles.
- Experience using PlanetTogether software is highly preferred in this job opportunity.
