Los Angeles Design Engineer Overview:
The main job of the Design Engineer will be the design and release of the vehicle’s mechanical components. The Design Engineer will be required to construct design verification plan (DVP) for the program. He or She will be working alongside suppliers to meet milestones in the program development process. In addition, this job requires direct manufacturing planning and coordination to mass produce the system at specific cost and timing requirements. The Design Engineer must collaborate with vehicle dynamics to ensure an effective end product.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering required, with a Master’s of Science preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of automotive design experience, resulting in expert knowledge of chassis and vehicle design
- Extensive experience using design software, specifically CATIA, to construction all aspects of a vehicle’s chassis.
- An individual who is also a vehicle dynamics specialist is preferred.
- This position does not require travel at this time.
