Columbus Plant Manager Overview:
The Columbus Plant Manager will have full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility over the entire manufacturing site. Additionally, he or she will oversee all staffing processes while on the job, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and terminations if necessary. The Plant Manager will be expected to improve and cultivate professional development for the entire staff of 30+ personnel. The Plant Manager will be expected to serve as a face for the plant, as he or she ultimately holds responsibility for its success and profitability. For this job, the Plant Manager, while working out of Columbus, will report to the organization’s Manufacturing Director, as well as the VP of Manufacturing.
Columbus Plant Manager Job Opening
- The Plant Manager is first and foremost responsible for the holistic safety of the plant, so he or she will collaborate with maintenance and production heads to ensure that machines and personnel are operating with safety and tidiness in mind.
- This role will oversee plant operations for the manufacturing process to ensure that manufactured processes create products that meet safety and customer specifications.
- The Plant Manager will oversee all quality and engineering functions of the plant as well.
Plant Manager (Columbus Area) Job Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in plant management and manufacturing is required for this Columbus job.
- Lean manufacturing experience
- Six sigma green belt as a minimum is required for this Columbus job.
