Houston Senior Logistics Manager Overview:

The main job of the Senior Logistics Manager will be to manage a team of logistics professionals while ensuring that over 20 warehouses are meeting cost compliance. The Senior Logistics Manager must solve problems in wasteful operations and strategize methods in which the logistics department can cut down on costs and time. The Senior Logistics Manager will meet warehouse KPIs and will drive on-time delivery to a customer promise date. The Senior Logistics Manager will also contribute to sustain a profitable P&L, as well as the environmental health and safety of each warehouse. For this role, the Senior Logistics Manager will work out of greater Houston and will report to the Director of Logistics.

• The Senior Logistics Manager will functionally oversee multiple warehouse managers and will be responsible for setting and implementing key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement at each site.
• The Senior Logistics Manager for logistics sourcing and contracting as needed.
• The job will also conduct inventory audits and will be responsible for overseeing inventory.
• Periodic travel out to the greater Houston, Texas sites will be required for this job.
