For this job, the Industrial Engineer is, first and foremost, responsible for optimizing the heavy equipment assembly processes at the greater Terre Haute, Indiana manufacturing plant. The Industrial Engineer must work across departments, including engineering, production, and maintenance, in order to champion lean manufacturing and change management initiatives. The Industrial Engineer will perform a variety of tests and audits in order to cut down on time and cost at the Terre Haute plant. There will be no engineers reporting directly to the Terre Haute Industrial Engineer, however, he or she will be expected to provide mentorship to production technicians and operators.
Terre Haute Industrial Engineer Job Opening
- In order to do the job properly, the Industrial Engineer must conduct time tests, production flow analysis, and capacity analysis in order to ascertain the status quo of operations at the greater Terre Haute plant.
- The Industrial Engineer will also keep track of labor hours, shift times, etc. in order to optimize labor usage.
- The role will also contribute to plant safety as well for this job.
- After all tests and audits, the Industrial Engineer will strategize cost reduction plans.

- At least a bachelor’s degree in an engineer field is required for this job.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility is essential for this role.
