Additionally, he or she will be responsible for supervising and ensuring the cost effective and timely delivery of inventory and product goods. The Director of Distribution will work cross-functionally with several departments within the company including sales and operations to anticipate forecasts and customer needs and to determine their impact on distribution operations. For this job, the Director of Distribution will report directly to a Vice President of Operations and will be tasked with developing tactical strategies and improving the effectiveness of transportation operations.

Director of Distribution (Salt Lake City Area) Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or supply chain-related field.
- At least ten years of logistical management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
