Salt Lake City Production Manager Overview:
The main job of the Production Manager is to ensure that the Salt Lake City, Utah, plant stays on schedule. He or she will need to head up continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes at the Salt Lake City plant in an effort to reduce manufacturing waste and cut down on manufacturing shutdowns and delays. The Production Manager will periodically need to work with the engineering, sales, and customer service departments in order to meet customer manufacturing times. The Production Manager will be a part of the manufacturing department and will be managing several production technicians. This job will report directly to the Salt Lake City, Utah plant’s Director of Operations.

- For this job, he or she will be responsible for consistently meeting manufacturing key performance indicators to sustain the high volume of the plant’s production.

- The Production Manager will not need to travel outside of Salt Lake City, Utah for this job.

Production Manager (Salt Lake City Area) Job Requirements:
- At least 8 years of management experience on a manufacturing floor.
- Experience in the furniture industry.
- A bachelor’s degree is a plus for this job.
