Chicago Design Engineer Overview:
The main responsibility of the Design Engineer will be to enhance the company’s product portfolio by conceptualizing new products and augmenting current products. He or she will need to interact with other departments of the company, such as production, safety, quality, and sales, in order to successfully implement product designs. The Design Engineer will additionally be tasked with selecting proper equipment to create design innovations at the Chicago, Illinois site. The Design Engineer will also interface with manufacturing and design technicians and will need to collaborate with and mentor them in regards to improving their efficiency. The Design Engineer will report to the Design Engineering Manager at the Chicago, Illinois, site.
