- Support fabrication departments by creating standard work and protocol
- Analyze and monitor operational performance based on key performance indicators
- Track efficiency, rework, work in process, scrap, and other measures
- Create and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
- Report and conduct root cause analysis for critical issues that hinder performance
- Liaise between multiple departments to determine project requirements
- Establish and implement best practices to improve the department
- Reduce costs when possible while maintaining quality standards
- Streamline operational procedures to minimize rework
- Improve operations by minimizing costs, waste, and scrap
- Develop innovative solutions to aide processes and procedures
- Comply with company standards and safety regulations
- Supervise other employees as needed to ensure job duties are fulfilled
- Support other teams to meet business needs
Process Engineer (Salt Lake City) Job Requirements:
- 5-10 years of Engineering, Quality, and/or Operations Management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Continuous Improvement training a plus
- Six Sigma training a plus
- Strong work ethic
