Minneapolis Master Scheduling Manager Overview:
The Minneapolis Master Scheduling Manager will work with the Supply Chain department and its personnel to develop production schedules for a multitude of product lines. The Master Scheduling Manager will oversee and direct the work of a staff of scheduling managers and schedulers to ensure that products are kept at appropriate levels. Additionally, the Master Scheduling Manager will work closely with purchasing and procurement to ensure that supplies are kept readily available to meet demand.

- The Minneapolis Master Scheduling Manager will develop policies and procedures for the scheduling department to ensure product is kept at appropriate levels.
- Interface regularly with procurement management and personnel to ensure that supplies are kept at appropriate levels to meet production demands.
- Work closely with other supply chain management to forecast product demand and develop production plans accordingly.
- The Minneapolis Master Scheduling Manager will take part in the hiring process of scheduling personnel.
- Develop, organize, and lead a training program for scheduling personnel.
- Oversee the yearly evaluations of scheduling personnel, provide feedback, praise, criticism.
- The Minneapolis Master Scheduling Manager will administer corrective action when employees violate policies and procedures, as well as recommend termination as necessary.
- Provide other duties as assigned by the director of the department.
Master Scheduling Manager (Minneapolis Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree in business, supply chain, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
- At least seven to ten years of experience in a scheduling role for a manufacturing facility.
- At least three to four years of experience in a management role for a manufacturing facility.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational skills, able to work on multiple priorities concurrently while meeting deadlines.
- APICS certification is preferable for this job.
- Experience with ERP software as well as the Microsoft office suite of products, particularly Word, Excel, and outlook.
