The Nashville Senior Production Manager will over see a group of managers within an assigned area of the facility. The Senior Production Manager oversees new programs and takes part in establishing requirements for materials, equipment, quality standards, and tooling. The Senior Production Manager is responsible for ensuring that the process consistently improves and quality problems are minimized. Ensure that budgets are followed and financial figures are not exceeding.

The Nashville Senior Production Manager will oversee the development of the manufacturing plan for major and minor models as well as performing the execution of the plan.
Oversee projects in trial as well as the full launch.
Determine the manufacturing requirements of new programs.
The Nashville Senior Production Manager will ensure that requirements for quality, safety, cost, and delivery time are met for programs.
Drive continuous improvement activities for manufacturing programs and processes.
Make suggestions for the proper manpower assignments to maximize efficiency and safety.
The Nashville Senior Production Manager will supervise, coach, and lead a team of managers and other senior personnel.
Establish performance expectations for direct reports, provide corrective action when expectations are not met.

Sr. Production Manager (Nashville Area) Job Requirements:

A four year degree in a field related to manufacturing from a four year university.
At least ten years of automotive manufacturing experience.
A minimum of two years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other business softwares.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Natural leadership skills, able to motivate others.
Familiarity with HR policies and laws.
Familiar with manufacturing quality standards.
Familiarity with automotive manufacturing of chassis systems and tooling.
