The Grand Rapids Quality Control Team Lead will direct the quality control team to ensure that all components meet quality requirements. The Quality Control team lead will also check all materials received to ensure they meet quality specifications. This job will require working with management and team members to minimize quality issues within the facility.

Inspect shipments from suppliers as they deliver, inspect materials to ensure they match appropriate specifications, check all materials with technical dimensions and mechanical requirements.
Ensure that received materials are tagged and traceable.
The Grand Rapids Quality Control Team Lead will perform part inspection throughout the process and for final inspection.
Perform inspections final, ensure parts are properly preserved to be shipped to customers.
Ensure that all parts are properly preserved for shipping by maintaining photo documentation.
The Grand Rapids Quality Control Team Lead enters all final inspection results into the electronic data system.
Complete all non-conformance reports and maintain documents.
Interface with machinists and management to implement changes to rectify quality issues.
Oversee and ensure parts are marked and properly preserved.
The Grand Rapids Quality Control Team Lead shall inspect purchase orders to learn customer specified procedures for quality.

Quality Control Team Lead (Grand Rapids) Job Requirements:

Proven experience of leading successful quality audits.
Familiar with ISO 9001:2008 quality standards.
At least four years of quality control in a metal manufacturing facility.
Familiar with measuring tools and techniques, inspecting layouts, and calibrating gauges.
Able to read and interpret technical documents and engineering prints.
A diligent mindset, able to catch small details and discrepancies.
A proven leader, works comfortable with and directing a team.
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
Great communication skills, comfortable working with other departments, suppliers, and customers.
