Overview:

The VP of Operations will be heading up improve strategies for multiple plants across the country. These strategies will include how to improve production, engineering, operations, and manufacturing functions for the various plants in the USA. He or she will need to find ways to increase lean operations in the USA and cut down on production costs at all locations. The best VP of Operations will be adept at transforming operational strategies into day-to-day realities for the organization. Additionally, he or she will need to find ways to optimize the performance of subordinate Plant Managers. The VP of Operations will be reporting to the President of the company’s Manufacturing and Fabrication USA sector and will have several direct reports.

VP of Operations (USA) Job Requirements:

• A 4-year Bachelor’s degree from a top university is required for this job, preferably in the engineering fields of study.
• A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in a high-volume and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• A high desire to travel.
• An executive mindset and ability to enhance the ability of coworkers.

• Extensive lean manufacturing experience.
