• Clearly explain to customers or vendors the details of any development or production errors and work to solve all such defects.
• The Director of Operations must craft and implement initiatives concerning product development in order to better meet client’s expectations and demands.
• The Director of Operations must act as the liaison between all internal stakeholders, providing updates on benchmark progress and strategies being enacted to ensure timely and proper completion.
• Develop and refine a consistent and efficient process for product development that is in line with business objectives at the .
• The Director of Operations must maintain responsibility for multiple product portfolios, timelines, and product life cycles.
• Act as a mentor to project personnel at the Los Angeles plant.

Director of Operations (Los Angeles Area) Job Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is required for this Los Angeles job.
• Masters of Business Administration would be preferable for this job.
• A minimum of fifteen years experience leading projects and at least five years of senior management job experience.
• Consumer product industry (cut & sew, plush, printed packaging, and injection molded plastics) experience is preferable.

• Managed a staff of at least 15 with a minimum of 5 direct reports.
• Experience working with overseas vendors and internal resources.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a high level of confidence.
• Great organizational skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks while keeping an eye on the details.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, flexible, ever-changing environment.
• Project Management Professional certification is preferable.
• Good computer skills.
