First and foremost, the Manufacturing Supervisor must help maintain a safe work environment for the workers in the plant.
This position will need to be able to train plant personnel on the company’s various equipment and machinery.
The Manufacturing Supervisor will also need to report accidents, lateness, absences, and other incidents that involve the manufacturing personnel.
The Manufacturing Supervisor will need to show up in a punctual manner and be able to pitch in on various shifts.
There will need to be precise reporting of production goals and schedules from the Manufacturing Supervisor.
The Manufacturing Supervisor will also need to run production jobs to meet a set schedule on time in order to avoid delays in the manufacturing process.
This role will need to help adjust the manufacturing process in order to keep up with variances in the production schedule. Additionally, the Manufacturing Supervisor will need to help correct any delays in the process.
This Detroit, Michigan job is also responsible assisting in keeping the facility tidy and orderly.
The Manufacturing Supervisor will also need to keep track of and report any problems with the machines or tools that the facility utilizes.
