We are seeking an experienced Product Manager II – Digital Transformation to lead the development and execution of IoT- and AI-enabled solutions that improve manufacturing operations, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will combine strong product management expertise with a deep understanding of manufacturing, IoT architecture, cloud technologies, and artificial intelligence.
Position Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for IoT and AI-driven manufacturing solutions.
- Balance technology capabilities, customer value, profitability, and competitive positioning.
- Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and post-launch optimization.
IoT & AI Solutions
- Lead the integration of IoT devices, sensors, and systems with cloud platforms for real-time manufacturing data collection.
- Apply AI technologies such as machine learning, computer vision, and predictive analytics to manufacturing challenges.
- Support solutions for predictive maintenance, automated quality control, and process optimization.
- Ensure solutions are designed for scalability, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, data science, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders.
- Lead complex product initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Facilitate alignment and drive results across globally distributed teams.
Customer & Market Insights
- Engage with customers to understand operational challenges, requirements, and opportunities.
- Translate customer needs into actionable product features and solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Data Security & Compliance
- Ensure IoT and AI solutions follow applicable data security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work with technical teams to address data protection, system security, and compliance considerations.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor product performance and use data-driven insights to guide decisions.
- Analyze IoT and AI data to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Continuously refine products based on customer feedback, market needs, and business performance.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of product management experience, preferably focused on IoT solutions within manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience with AI technologies such as machine learning, computer vision, or predictive analytics.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational challenges.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT or Azure IoT Hub.
- Understanding of IoT architecture, hardware, software, and communication protocols.
- Experience with agile product development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex product initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams and multiple stakeholders.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Product Management certifications.
- Agile or Scrum certifications.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- AI, machine learning, or data analytics certifications.
