We are seeking a Sr Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives, improve manufacturing and operational processes, and ensure products consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements. Position Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure products and processes comply with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Conduct audits and support quality system compliance initiatives.
Process Improvement
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities to resolve quality issues.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement projects.
Product & Process Validation
- Support product launches through quality planning, validation, and process qualification.
- Develop inspection plans, quality documentation, and process controls.
- Monitor process capability and recommend improvements to enhance product quality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality concerns.
- Support supplier quality initiatives and customer quality requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, process improvements, and problem-solving activities.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect and analyze quality metrics to evaluate process performance.
- Prepare reports and communicate quality performance to leadership.
- Utilize statistical methods and quality tools to support decision-making.
Customer & Supplier Support
- Investigate customer complaints and coordinate timely resolution.
- Support supplier audits and qualification activities.
- Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, quality tools, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and APQP.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
- ISO 9001 Internal or Lead Auditor Certification.
- Lean Manufacturing Certification.
- Additional quality or manufacturing certifications.
