We are seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant (Part Time) to support sales and marketing initiatives by developing engaging content, maintaining digital platforms, and assisting with promotional activities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication, graphic design, and organizational skills who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing to brand growth.
Position Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Create and maintain marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, and product literature.
- Develop graphics, photos, and short videos for marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Ensure all marketing materials align with company branding guidelines.
Digital Marketing
- Develop, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms.
- Assist with updating website content, including products, news, and company updates.
- Support email marketing campaigns and customer newsletters.
Event & Trade Show Support
- Assist with planning and coordinating trade shows and promotional events.
- Prepare marketing materials, displays, and booth assets.
- Support event logistics before and after trade shows.
Marketing Operations
- Organize and maintain marketing files, photos, videos, and branding assets.
- Track marketing activities and assist with campaign performance reporting.
- Help maintain consistency across all marketing communications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with sales, engineering, and other departments to develop customer-focused marketing content.
- Assist in simplifying technical information into engaging marketing materials.
- Support additional marketing and administrative projects as assigned.
Prerequisites
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience creating marketing content for digital and print platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- Adobe Certified Professional certification.
- Google Analytics Certification.
- Google Digital Marketing Certification.
- HubSpot Content Marketing or Email Marketing Certification.
- Experience with WordPress, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar marketing platforms.
