We are seeking an experienced and organized Project Manager to oversee projects from initiation through completion while ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer requirements. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, coordinating project activities, managing schedules, budgets, documentation, and resources to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

Manage projects from purchase order through final customer acceptance.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and documentation.
Coordinate project kick-off meetings and establish project objectives.
Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables remain on schedule and within budget.

Customer Relationship Management

Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams.
Build strong customer relationships by providing timely communication and project updates.
Ensure customer specifications and project requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Obtain customer approvals for project milestones and deliverables.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with engineering, production, assembly, sales, and accounting teams to ensure successful project execution.
Support resource planning to maintain project schedules and staffing requirements.
Facilitate design reviews and cross-functional project meetings.

Budget & Change Management

Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
Manage project scope changes, schedule revisions, and change notifications.
Coordinate project invoicing at designated milestones.
Identify and resolve project risks that may impact cost or schedule.

Quality & Compliance

Verify project checklists, documentation, and quality standards before equipment shipment.
Coordinate equipment testing, customer acceptance, installation, and final site acceptance.
Ensure projects comply with customer specifications, company standards, and safety requirements.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate project files, meeting minutes, and project records.
Prepare project status reports for leadership and customers.
Track project milestones and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Business Support

Assist with project quotations, pricing reviews, scheduling, and feasibility assessments.
Support leadership with operational initiatives as needed.
Participate in customer visits and occasional sales meetings when required.

Prerequisites

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience managing projects within manufacturing, industrial automation, engineering, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Project.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as needed to support customers and project activities.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
OSHA Safety Certification.
Experience with ERP or project management software.
