We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations, minimizing downtime, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal equipment performance.
Position Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Inspect machinery and electrical components to identify potential issues before failures occur.
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in production equipment and facility systems.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to improve system reliability.
Equipment Installation & Upgrades
- Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
- Support equipment modifications and system upgrades to improve efficiency and performance.
- Ensure all installations comply with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all electrical safety procedures and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Participate in safety inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement process improvements.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, motors, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control system issues.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- OSHA Safety Certification.
- NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training.
- PLC programming or automation certifications.
- CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification.
