We are seeking an experienced Aftermarket Strategy Manager to lead strategic initiatives that drive long-term growth, profitability, and customer value across the aftermarket business. This role partners with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, optimize service offerings, and develop strategies that enhance customer satisfaction while supporting business objectives.
Position Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute aftermarket growth strategies across assigned product lines or business segments.
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insights.
- Support long-term planning initiatives that align with organizational goals.
Business Development
- Evaluate opportunities for new service offerings, repair programs, spare parts strategies, and lifecycle solutions.
- Develop business cases, financial models, ROI analyses, and strategic recommendations.
- Help strengthen market position through innovative aftermarket solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, product support, supply chain, finance, commercial, and operations teams to align business strategies.
- Lead cross-functional projects that improve customer experience and operational performance.
- Coordinate efforts to ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
Performance Analysis
- Monitor key performance indicators, including sales, profitability, service performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze trends and recommend improvements to maximize financial and operational results.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations supported by data-driven insights.
Customer & Program Support
- Support the development of long-term service agreements and customer support strategies.
- Assist in optimizing product lifecycle management and service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in aftermarket services, product support, strategy, business development, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Understanding of product lifecycle management, service operations, repair programs, or industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- MBA or other advanced business degree.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement certification.
- Financial analysis or strategy-related certifications are a plus.
