We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Supply Chain to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. This executive leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies that drive operational excellence, improve efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, and support long-term business growth. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in procurement, planning, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Position Responsibilities

Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
Drive long-term planning to support growth, profitability, and customer service objectives.

Procurement & Supplier Management

Oversee strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationship management.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Develop supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement programs.

Inventory & Demand Planning

Establish inventory management strategies that balance service levels and working capital objectives.
Oversee forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization initiatives.
Monitor inventory accuracy and implement controls to minimize shortages and excess inventory.

Logistics & Distribution

Direct transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
Optimize logistics networks to improve delivery performance and reduce costs.
Ensure efficient movement of goods throughout the supply chain.

Operations & Process Improvement

Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain organization.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Leverage technology and analytics to improve visibility and decision-making.

Financial & Performance Management

Develop and manage supply chain budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when needed.
Ensure supply chain operations contribute to overall profitability and business objectives.

Leadership & Talent Development

Build, mentor, and develop high-performing supply chain teams.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
Develop succession plans and leadership development initiatives.

Risk Management & Compliance

Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Develop contingency plans to support business continuity.

Prerequisites

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience.
Proven experience leading procurement, logistics, inventory management, planning, and distribution functions.
Strong understanding of ERP systems, supply chain technologies, and data analytics.
Demonstrated success driving operational improvements and organizational transformation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing large operational budgets.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex business environment.
