We are seeking an AP Accountant to support the organization’s accounts payable operations by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, vendor communications, and financial records. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

Position Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Processing
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Match invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure timely payment of approved invoices according to established schedules.
- Monitor outstanding payables and resolve discrepancies as needed.
Vendor Management
- Serve as a point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and payment information.
- Assist with vendor statement reconciliations and issue resolution.
- Support onboarding of new vendors and documentation management.
Financial Reconciliation & Reporting
- Reconcile accounts payable balances and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare reports related to accounts payable transactions and outstanding liabilities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial controls.
- Support audit requests by providing documentation and transaction records.
- Assist in maintaining proper approval workflows and payment controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with accounting, finance, procurement, and operations teams.
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with administrative and accounting-related duties as assigned.
- Contribute to maintaining a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with accounting or ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Mandarin language proficiency is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in an office-based environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB)
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP)
- Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
- CPA coursework or progress toward professional accounting certification
