We are seeking an OCS Construction Manager to oversee construction activities, coordinate project execution, and ensure operational success across infrastructure and field operations projects. This role will be responsible for managing schedules, safety compliance, contractor coordination, and project performance while supporting efficient delivery and high-quality results.
Position Responsibilities
Project Oversight
- Manage day-to-day construction operations and field activities
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall progress
- Ensure projects are completed in accordance with specifications and timelines
Contractor & Team Coordination
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders and leadership teams
- Support workforce planning and resource allocation for project execution
Safety & Compliance
- Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety procedures
- Address project risks and support corrective action planning when needed
Quality Control
- Ensure construction activities meet quality standards and operational requirements
- Review project documentation, inspections, and field reports
- Assist in resolving construction and operational challenges efficiently
Budget & Reporting
- Track project costs and assist with financial oversight
- Prepare project status updates, schedules, and performance reports
- Support forecasting, documentation management, and operational planning
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and field operations
- Support implementation of best practices and construction standards
- Collaborate with leadership on long-term operational strategies
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience managing construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with project management and reporting tools
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- OSHA Safety Certification
- Construction Management Certifications
- First Aid/CPR Certification
