We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Executive to lead revenue growth initiatives and expand market presence across key territories. This role is responsible for developing and executing national sales strategies, building strong client relationships, and driving business development efforts to achieve ambitious revenue targets. The ideal candidate brings executive-level sales leadership experience, strategic vision, and a proven ability to close high-value deals.
Position Responsibilities
National Sales Strategy Development
- Develop and execute comprehensive national sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify target markets, growth opportunities, and competitive positioning strategies.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and strategic partnerships.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts with enterprise-level clients.
- Achieve and exceed annual sales and revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Sales Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and executive leadership to align sales initiatives.
- Provide market insights and forecasting to support business planning.
- Mentor and support regional sales teams as needed.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Track sales metrics, pipeline performance, and forecasting accuracy.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with national or enterprise-level responsibility.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding high revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and strategic accounts.
- Ability to travel as required.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP) or equivalent.
- Advanced negotiation or strategic sales certifications.
