We are seeking a seasoned and strategic general manager to lead overall business operations, drive performance, and ensure sustained growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, optimizing operational processes, and delivering strong financial and organizational outcomes. Position Responsibilities
Business Leadership
- Define and execute strategic plans to meet business objectives, including revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment between departments such as production, supply chain, finance, and sales
Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and key financial metrics
- Analyze financial results and implement corrective actions where necessary to achieve targets
Operational Management
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards
- Ensure operational compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
Team Development
- Build and manage a high-performance leadership team across all departments
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration
Customer and Partner Engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Represent the company externally to partners, clients, and the broader community
Strategic Projects
- Drive and execute capital improvement projects, including expansion, technology upgrades, and process automation
- Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with company growth strategies
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations, engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial operations
- Strong business acumen with a track record of managing P&L and delivering measurable results
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Experience in managing large teams and complex operations
- Proficiency with ERP systems and business analytics tools
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent)
