We are seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-driven Quality Engineer to support and enhance our client’s quality assurance processes within a manufacturing or production environment. This role is essential in ensuring that products and processes meet established standards through testing, analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of quality systems and a continuous improvement mindset.
Position Responsibilities
Quality Control & Assurance
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards for manufacturing processes and products.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications.
Root Cause Analysis & Problem Resolution
- Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve non-conformance and process deviations.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, including reports, procedures, and records.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, ISO standards, and customer requirements.
Continuous Improvement
- Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend process enhancements to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, PPAP, 8D, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with quality systems, inspection equipment, and MS Office.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Certification
- ASQ Membership or equivalent industry certification
