We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with expertise in consumer electronics to lead and grow our client’s sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales strategy, client relationship management, and team leadership within the consumer electronics sector. This role requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on, capable of driving performance and fostering long-term partnerships.
Position Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify market trends and customer needs to position products competitively.
- Monitor sales metrics and adjust tactics to improve performance and profitability.
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to ensure individual and team success.
- Promote a culture of accountability, achievement, and continuous improvement.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners.
- Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
- Resolve issues effectively to maintain customer trust and loyalty.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales efforts.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
- Contribute insights to product development based on customer feedback and market demand.
Prerequisites
- Proven experience (5+ years) in sales, preferably within the consumer electronics industry.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Certified Sales Executive (CSE)
- Sales Management Certification (SMC)
- Product Management or Marketing certifications relevant to electronics or retail industries
