We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to support and enhance production processes across a growing manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, optimizing systems, and working cross-functionally to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key part in process design, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational excellence and product reliability.

Position Responsibilities
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Analyze current manufacturing workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Develop and implement solutions to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality
- Conduct time studies and process validations to support Lean manufacturing practices
Production Support
- Provide engineering support to the production team to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively
- Work closely with maintenance and quality teams to troubleshoot and improve equipment reliability
- Develop standard operating procedures and training documentation for production staff
Tooling & Equipment Development
- Design and implement jigs, fixtures, and tooling to streamline assembly and reduce cycle times
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies or equipment to support manufacturing growth
Quality & Compliance
- Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure products meet internal and external specifications
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions related to non-conforming product
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing processes
Data Collection & Reporting
- Collect and analyze production data to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Report on improvements, cost savings, and project outcomes to leadership teams
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficient with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
- OSHA Safety Certification
- AutoCAD or SolidWorks certification
