A growing consumer goods manufacturer is seeking a Warehouse Manager in the greater Newark, New Jersey area.
Newark Warehouse Manager Opening
- Oversee a team of warehouse employees and trains new employees on the operations and policies of the company.
- Monitors receiving, maintenance, and distribution of products that come through the warehouse.
- Maintains safety, health, security, and hygiene standards within the facility.
- Coordinates work shifts and assigns daily tasks for the employees which they will appraise afterward.
- Creates reports to monitor inventory, warehouse status, as well as shipping and receiving to identify areas to improve.
Warehouse Manager (Newark) Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, logistics or business is required
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Warehouse Management experience
- Proven ability to meet and exceed warehouse KPIs (Key Performance Indicator)
- Previous experience with managing warehouse databases and software
- Strong leadership and communication skills
