An international food manufacturer is seeking a Vice President of Global Engineering in the greater Kansas City, Kansas area.
Kansas City Vice President of Global Engineering Job Opening
- Deliver guidance to divisional heads and global engineering teams regarding project details, scope, milestones, and staff requirements.
- Provide corporate technical review and the appropriate oversight of all major worldwide and domestic CAPEX projects.
- Establish and oversee capital request guidelines and process approvals within the organization.
- Help divisions identify, select, negotiate, and monitor all capital expenditures.
- Oversee the Purchasing Group and Overseas Regional Technical Directors and their staffs.
Vice President of Global Engineering (Kansas City Area) Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Engineering related to agriculture, food production, or construction management is required.
- At least 10-15 years of experience in engineering and operations management
- Must be resourceful, adaptable, and action-oriented to anticipate and accomplish objectives regardless of the obstacles
- Ability to optimize work processes to achieve continuous improvement and maximize efficiency
- Experience with global responsibility is preferred
