  • Thorough understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings.
  • Familiarity with construction management software packages, such as MS Project.
  • Ability to plan strategically and see the “big picture.”
  • Competence in conflict and crisis management.
  • Strong leadership and human resources management skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of five years of construction experience (required).
  • Preferred certification as a Construction Manager by the American Institute of Constructors or Construction Management Association of America.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to traverse and inspect all areas of the job site in various weather conditions, involving walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
