JMJ Phillip is Jump Starting the Holiday Charity Season by Matching $2500 in Gifts for Toys for Tots

November 23rd, 2010

Executive Search Firm JMJ Phillip is taking a lead by example stance for the 2010 holiday season and is stepping up by offering to match every toy a business sends in to their firm with a similar toy.

Rochester, MI (PRWEB) November 23, 2010

The national executive search firm JMJ Phillip is taking a lead by example stance for the 2010 holiday season and is stepping up by offering to match every toy a business sends in to their firm with a similar toy. JMJ Phillip’s goal is to bring awareness to the Toys for Tots program as well as give corporations an incentive to donate toys by offering the synergy of matching those donations with a goal of matching up to $2500 in toys.

“Toys for Tots is a charity we have always believed in and knowing how each gift will ultimately end up in a child’s hands allows people to be emotionally connected to the process. Over the years we have received amazing feedback from both clients and candidates in regards to our work with the charity and with the economy on the rebound we decided to ratchet it up a notch in 2010 to make an attempt to engage others for this charitable cause,” said James Thompson, Vice President of Business Development.

JMJ Phillip will be accepting Toys until 5pm on December 8th. Corporations located in the Metro Detroit Area that wish to donate toys can make arrangements for pickup by contacting JMJ Phillip directly through their website. Toys should be new and unwrapped in their original packaging. Toys for all ages are welcome and as with every year, toys for older children are always in high demand, so please keep this in mind when making your selections.

“I love the idea of going toy for toy with other businesses. Many individuals make significant donations during the holidays so we believe there is no better time than the present to give the business community a little push to do more. As an executive recruiter you get to hear hundreds of touching stories every year from candidates all around the nation whose families are struggling, so for us stepping up and helping charities such as Toys for Tots really has become a part of our professional life,” said James Thompson.

Detroit-Based Recruiting Firm, JMJ Phillip, is Now Offering Michigan Residents Free Employment and Training Services

Detroit, MI February 3, 2010 — According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are currently over 700,000 unemployed Michigan residents. Since the state’s key industry – the auto market – is shedding jobs at all levels, the executive search firm JMJ Phillip will now offer complimentary career-shift coaching on a first come, first serve basis to help put some of Michigan’s jobless back to work.

JMJ Phillip’s Manufacturing Transition Initiative (MTI) will provide valuable assistance to those professionals looking to transition out of the manufacturing industry and into another job sector. The MTI staff will offer personal coaching sessions for up to 25 unemployed Michigan residents on a monthly basis. During these informative meetings, they’ll discuss the new rules for job searching during the recession as well as offer advice for a successful career change, including job interview tips and resume writing help.

“With the downturn in Michigan’s auto industry and the noticeable job trend from manufacturing to service-oriented position openings, it is imperative to not only be ready, but well prepared for a career change,” said James Thompson, Vice President of Business Development for JMJ Phillip. “To maintain a competitive edge in today’s job market, it is important to participate in continuing education courses, utilize social media networks to leverage relationships as well as have an effective resume presentation to grab a prospective employer’s attention. ”

JMJ Phillip will be offering employment coaching services throughout 2010 for Michigan residents to help prepare them for the state’s shift toward local energy efficiency projects and other service-sector jobs. ‘Tis the Season for Corporate Gift-Giving

‘Tis the Season for Corporate Gift-Giving

With U.S. small businesses feeling the pinch of the erratic economy, many are opting for creative yet economical gifts for their clients this holiday season. One such company is JMJ Phillip, a leading executive search firm, who is planning to send a unique gift to their clients – candy specifically designed to look like coal – to help leave a memorable impression on them.

Detroit, MI (PRWEB) November 23, 2009 — Corporate gift-giving is an excellent way to spread holiday cheer as well as strengthen ties with clients. Since the current economic downturn will affect the holiday gift-giving habits of America’s 29.6 million small businesses*, you should consider trimming this year’s holiday season budget by sending unique, personalized corporate gifts.

For those companies looking for sound investments in their client relations, some sure-fire gift pleasers include custom cards, calendars, photo frames and sweets. Once the gift type is determined, it is very important to properly use your company’s name, corporate theme and/or color scheme. A well designed and thought out gift will not only enhance the overall image of your organization, it will also further instill feelings of happiness, humor and joy in your clients toward your company.

One small business, JMJ Phillip, a leading executive search firm that focuses on recruiting top executives from the manufacturing and supply chain community, is planning on distributing cost-effective, promotional gift items this holiday season. Since 2009 was a tough year for many U.S. staffing and executive search firms, JMJ Phillip will send personalized gifts to one of the fastest growing industrial sectors – oil and gas companies – to further build rapport within this segment.

“To leave a fun and lighthearted impression, our firm will send edible coal candy treats to the top 25 power companies across the nation,” said James Thompson, Vice President of Business Development for JMJ Phillip. “We decided on edible coal treats since this fossil fuel is commonly used in producing energy in our country, and it is our hope to further promote our vast contacts – individuals who are well versed in both renewable and non-renewable energy sources – to help fill positions within the oil and gas sector.”

JMJ Phillip brings up another interesting notion of how important it is for small businesses to continually build relationships with clients – both existing and potential ones – during these tough economic times. By sending promotional gifts, a company will not only spread some holiday cheer among clients and prospects, but it will also help advertise its name, promote its services and open the door to new business opportunities.
